Volkswagen Aero B: 2023 Passat-sized EV found once again

Volkswagen is continuing advancement of a long-awaited electric alternate to the Passat, with new spy shots showing the design in moderate camouflage wrapping.
Internally codenamed ‘Aero B’, the design will rival cars and trucks such as the Tesla design 3, Polestar 2 as well as forthcoming Hyundai Ioniq 6 when it is released to the market in 2023.

New Volkswagen ID.4 GTX 2021 evaluation

Although the prototype seen in these pictures appears to be a lot more similar to a production car, VW’s creative application of its disguise indicates that we can’t state for sure that the front as well as rear profiles – in specific the lights – will look like this.

The Aero B was very first shown as a concept, dubbed the ID. Vizzion, at the 2018 Geneva motor show. We expect the completed car’s name will stick with the standard ID naming convention. In 2018, Volkswagen bosses guaranteed that the completed vehicle would be capable of 600km (327 miles) on a single charge.
If Volkswagen’s present battery innovation is anything to go by, this variety figure must be quickly achievable, particularly when thinking about the Aero B’s a lot more aerodynamic shape. The ID.4 Life, when fitted with the brand’s 77kWh battery as well as rear-mounted 201bhp electric motor, can conceal to 323 miles between charging stops.
